It is quite unexpected that ordinary black wooden clogs, that we see worn by Europeans, have made its way in the market and is now gaining popularity among different professional individuals or even those that are still in school.

We are so used seeing nurses wearing white shoes but nowadays some are wearing white clogs made of leather for additional comfort while they are standing for long periods of time. These clogs are expensive but are durable and can withstand the pressures brought about by being a nurse. It is sure to last long which can is beneficial especially to those nursing students who do not have enough money to buy new shoes every now and then. Even caregivers, medical technologies are wearing them because it adds flair to their uniform. They let go of those rubber shoes which honestly would add discomfort when worn for a long period of time.

There are clogs that are designed to look like rubber shoes or casual shoes. An example of this are those blue clogs that have gained popularity for those who just wants to look casual. Some are made of leather but the most popular one are those made of rubber. They are more of slip on sandals but with the look of a rubber shoes. Some runners would bring them as alternative footwear when they are finished running. It is a means of letting their feet breathe after a strenuous run.

When clogs emerged in the market, the black leather clogs and black wooden clogs were the first that were introduced. Mostly men were the consumers but as time passes by designs became so vast and it has evolved into a type of footwear that most the working men and women can wear in their offices. For the men the black dansko clogs have been so popular because it resembles black leather shoes that they wear with their office suits.  Compared to those high end black leather shoes the prices of the designer clogs are a lot cheaper without taking away durability and comfort.

For women especially the working class, they opt for those that are high heeled clogs with embellishments since they can wear it with any types of dress. The heels of the clogs are a lot safer and do not hurt the legs of the women wearing them compared to those slim type heels that can cause injury if not carefully worn. Some clogs are so lightweight that when wearing them it feels like wearing slippers.

Clogs are not here to replace the shoes that we are so used of wearing or slippers that we can buy at a cheaper price. But for some clogs have become essentials especially when we want variety and we want to add statement to our fashion sense. If we talk about old designs of clogs, they look so ordinary but with designers making clogs as part of their fashion line it is inevitable that it will gain more fame to those who loves shoes.
